::both girls follow you into a small room adjacent to the library. This one seems to have been fixed up, for the most part. The walls are lined with maps of the city, and numerous listings of addresses and names:: Leaving so soon? ::growls quietly:: What, we're not good enough for you, huh? Huh? Well, fine. This is our connection to the "outside world."

::adjusts her glasses calmly:: You may or may not know this, but the Little Italy lodging house is a part of the New York City Newsgirls Union. It's been part of the Union since the first leaders were here—I don't know who they are, either. But when we took over the place, we leared of its connections to other lodging houses for newsgirls in the City.

Much more posh places than here.

This room has all of the listings you need: places in the city where you can find the resources of the Union—terms and policies and requirements, and such; lists of all of the Union girls and how you might reach them, as well as a list of all of the boys—many of these places have lodging houses for boys, too.

Not us. We're strictly girls. ::snickers:: And, on this wall over here, you can find all of the other lodging houses involved in the Union. So if you don't like it here, you can find somewhere else to go. ::gestures to a map of the city—a large map, nearly covering the entire wall. Stuck into specific spots are pins, with a small tag attached under it to read which house it is. Coloured in around the area is the lodging house's selling territory. Adjacent to the map is a list, in Venice's handwriting, of all of the places on the map and their addresses.::
